| Thanks and Please find more information in addtion to my already submitted to Omnexus on March 8th, 2008(please find a copy hereunder!)
1.Is this a new application or program?
No!, the ordinary PC(Lexan or simple polycarbonate) granule is enough for my new application and program to replace all metal(Iron/aluminum/stainless steels) cylinders of all fire extinguishers in this world with polycarbonate plastics. But I am seeking more safer and stronger materials for the uses as “pressure containing cylinders”(or bottles or containers) of my “Nude/Trasparent/Visible/See-through/Naked Fire Extinguishers” or “Nude Fire Extinguishing Spray”
2. How will these parts be processed?
By just blow molding, is enough for my “Nude Fire Extinguishers” in polycarbonate cylinders, But I prefer to making with “Injection Blow Molding” Process. In Korea, we have one good maker “DaeWoo Precision Plastic Co., Ltd.” who have the “Injection Blow Molding” machine and some others, as well as so many makers of just “Blow Molding”(Extrusion Blow Molding) makers in Korea, also in China.
3. The important physical properties to be achieved mentioned by you are:-
-Chemical resistance : not so important because the siliconed first ammonium phosphate(Nh4h2Po4, ABC Dry Chemicals) or AFFF(Aqueous Film Forming Foam) as fire suppression suffectants is ablsolutely never resisting chemically to ordinary polycarbonate.
-Dimensional stability : Just a little important! as I think the currently existing polycarbonate(Lexan) is still strong enough, but I prefer to more dimensional stability to convince other silly and foolish guys in government organizations in each countries in this world, in replacing metals with polycarbonate plastics
-Transparency : As Fire Extinguishers is not so accurate and precised applications or appliances, the amount of transparency is not so important, anyway it should be visible , nude, see-through, translucent, opaque in any case to look throgh inside of cylinderrs to see and check the status of pressure, dry chemicals or AFFF, inside of my polycarbonate cylinders
Please give the minimum values that are required so that Bayer can guide you better.
4. What environments do you expect that your part will the part be exposed to? : In the open air or buildings, offices, kitchens, Hotel rooms and automobiles, As you can imagine easily where any kinds of fire extinguishers should be installed or furnished as usual or in accordance with silly and absurd Law and regulations in this world’s all government organizations.
5. Please describe the dimensions of your part.
Can you find any fire extinguishers just nearby you or your offices or buildings or subways or airport??. From Spray types of fire extinguishers to Manually Operating(Hand Grip types, normally standing and furnished on the walls of every buildings) Fire Extinguishers ;;;;;Round cylinder or bottle or container or spray types as dimensional imagination
6. How will your part be assembled?
No assembling needed at all, simple bottle or cylinders will be capped later, with valves(Now Iron/aluminum/die-casted) just as normal fire extinguishers in this Heaven, as a whole one piece of cylinders or bottles. Therefore you may not worry about the assembling matters for this case, Please think that you are now making a bottle or cylinders in one piece as whole
7.How much material do you expect to use per year this program? : Can you imagine how many fire extinguishers are now existing in this world or will be needed to be furnished in the future?????
Also I would like to know whether you want to receive the sample in the form of sheets or granulates. :::
Maybe no need to receive any samples I receive!!!!!!!
I want to know the price comparision or material characteristics only, as definitely you do not have samples in cylinders or bottles.
the granule or sheets are useless for me!!!
Maybe if you have Tubes, then I want to receive, but not so important as tubes are also useless to me for testing pressure inside??? with tubes How I can test the pressure inside?????
